hey!

We are the Martins, a Florida based family who love the mountains! We’ve converted our 2004 Thomas School Bus into a 38 foot custom tiny home to find the perfect mix of travel and tiny living. During the summer of 2018, Jake had the wild idea to change our lives and try something new. We bought Blanche in November of 2018 and after almost 2 years of saving, countless hours of research & manual labor (Jake has done 90% of this build on his own, using his own skill set) and one major global pandemic we finally hit the road in 2021. If there was ever the time to be off-grid we would say it’s NOW.

2024 UPDATE

We are currently prepping the bus for sale after 3 years of travel! We are never truly done traveling, our life just continues to evolve and change, along with our goals and dreams for our family.
